About Us
My name is Jason Carruth. I have spent over 20 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer in high schools and colleges (NAIA, NCAA Div I, II, and III) and working in professional rodeo and motocross events, and 13 years as a college instructor teaching future coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists and occupational therapists among others in Exercise and Sport Science.
For the past couple of years, I have coached my son's youth baseball team. One thing that is clear from youth through high school is that the mental aspect of sports and life isn't a focus. We often hear that 90% of the sport is mental, but we spend 99% of the time training the physical. I wanted a way for my sons to develop a great positive mental approach to sports where failure is a constant. I wanted to give middle school and high school athletes hoping for a future in their chosen sport a way to access knowledge and strategies for advancing their game they were unaware of. Rather than developing a one-size-fits-all program or writing a book, I thought it would be best to develop a system for connecting those student-athletes who need the information with those student-athletes who have already climbed the mountain and understand what it takes. A mentor to guide student-athletes in dealing with adversity, sacrifice, recruitment, NIL, and everything that comes with being a driven athlete.
